Sea Transport Solutions have developed, refined and proven a design, to overcome the
usual operational problems common amongst conventional landing craft, these primarily
          being:-

Poor Head-sea capabilities, due to bow ramp
slamming, resulting in dramatic reduction in speed.
Inferior Crew Comfort due to accommodation being
              directly above machinery spaces.
Inadequate power available when de-beaching, due
to propellers being operated in a highly inefficient mode (reverse).
Poor forward visibility, due to bow ramp. The commercial applications
for Sea Transport Solutions SLV designs, are the same as a conventional landing craft,
with the exception that the SLV design, has overcome the above-mentioned operational
problems.  Thereby making it suitable for a vastly increased number of applications,
particularly in heavier seas, and more remote types of environments.   These
SLV's have an increased on-deck payload, 50% greater than the equivalent length
conventional landing barge. Stern Landing Vessel design
sizes, range from the 20m, 28 tonne SLV up to our 110 metre long 5000 tonnes cargo
deadweight SLV. Derivative designs of the SLV,
are the self-discharging bulk carriers ABURRI (3300DWT) and WUNMA (5200 DWT), both vessels
are used for the carriage of toxic materials, such as Lead Zinc Concentrate.
