    Following
the success of the Wanderer II , a larger
version of the low wash high speed ferry was designed.
Built to high quality level by Richardson and Devine
Marine, Hobart, Tasmania, the new vessel  exceeded both operators and builders expectations and is
currently running passengers on the environmentally sensitive Strahan river in the
south-western corner of Tasmania. The vessel carries two hundred passenger on the main and upper decks.
A well equipped galley on the main deck provides the passengers with meals and
beverages on there return journey up the Strahan river.  Viewing the scenery is
possible via side windows, aft decks, the foredeck and a viewing deck above the upper deck
        and wheelhouse.
Engine options include marine diesels  to provide propulsion, each
developing 1100hp at 2300 RPM.  Fuel capacity is 6000 litres, fresh water 1000
litres.  The engine room is fitted out immaculately with space to service the engine,
gearbox and auxiliaries.      Often venturing offshore, including delivery from Hobart, the vessel
encounters weather in some of the roughest waters in the world,  the fetch reaching
all the way to South America unimpeded by land.  With the vessel taking this in its
stride we at AluminumNow are very pleased to offer Crowther designs to meet our clients
        requirements.
