After the previous success of Design No. 218 'Reef Queen', Crowther Multi-hulls was commissioned to design the 38m high speed catamaran ferry 'Reef Prince' for operation on Australia's Great Barrier Reef.

Designed to Det Norske Veritas survey with a High Speed Light Craft +1A1 passenger R3 rating, this 38m catamaran can carry 458 passengers at 31 knots in comfort and safety.
